Be Respectful
Be there On-time
Keep a Clean Environment

The primary vision of James Baxter Hunt, Jr. High School is to provide all students with a high-quality education leading to a high school diploma. It is our hope that this will prepare students to pursue whatever dreams they may have beyond their high school education. Through effective instructional leadership, sound teaching, an orderly environment and community involvement, we believe that our graduates will be able to realize their true potential with their diploma from Hunt High School.

The entire Hunt High School community believes that our first responsibility is to meet the individual needs of the student by strengthening their knowledge and skills and by enhancing their self-concepts. To achieve this goal, we must work closely with everyone by communicating the expectations while simultaneously working within the confines established by the local Board of Education.
